Born on 20 November 1951, Rodger Bumpass is an actor & comedian. Rodger Bumpass is well-known for his protracted appearance on the American cartoon television series ‘SpongeBob SquarePants’ as Squidward Tentacles. In addition, Rodger Bumpass provides the voices for a number of other personalities on the programme, such as the ‘purple doctor fish’ as well as other anchovies. Rodger Bumpass’s Work
Rodger Bumpass was cast in the ‘National Lampoon’s ‘That’s Not Funny’, ‘That’s Sick’ musical & comedy road show in 1977, and Rodger Bumpass worked alongside them until 1978. Rodger Bumpass made an appearance in the HBO television special ‘Disco Beaver’ from ‘Outer Space’ that same year. Bumpass was chosen to play the lead character in the 1979 National Lampoon movie Jaws 3, People 0, in which Rodger would share a passionate sequence with Bo Derek. But the makers of the Jaws movie objected, and the movie was scrapped. To feature on the ‘National Lampoon’ album The White Album in 1980, Bumpass invented the character of “Fartman,” who later served as the model for the ‘Howard Stern’ character of the same name.
Rodger Bumpass Controversy
In Burbank, California, 2016, Rodger was detained on suspicion of DUI. Bumpass was allegedly discovered by Burbank Police Department officers in his blue automobile in the middle of the street. When cops approached Bumpass for questioning, it was claimed that he had been leaning against the car. As they approached, Bumpass attempted to move away but lost his balance and nearly fell to the ground. Before police arrived, Rodger Bumpass admitted to driving after partying at a Burbank bar, and he was immediately arrested after failing a breathalyzer test. According to reports, Rodger Bumpass’s levels of alcohol in his blood were more than double the legal limit. Rodger Bumpass was subsequently released the next morning after posting a 15,000 dollar bail.
