La casa de los famosos is an American Spanish-language translation of Celebrity Big Brother, a popular reality television series. On August 24, 2021, Telemundo broadcast the program’s debut.After Gran Hermano, which was also broadcast on Telemundo, and Big Brother English, which was televised on CBS, this is the fifth American rendition of the international Big Brother model.
The show received a third season renewal on August 8, 2022, and it debuted on January 17, 2023. A fourth season of the show was ordered on April 11, 2023.
History of La Casa De Los Famosos Series
The series was introduced in early 2021 during the network’s upfront presentation for the upcoming television season 2021–2022. Gabriela Spanic was named as the first participant on July 28, 2021, when Telemundo officially announced the show’s August 24 start date. Format
The season follows 17 celebrities who are always being videotaped while they live in a house together without having any contact with the outside world. In a secluded space known as the Confesionario (Confession Room), the Housemates discuss the happenings in the home throughout their stay.The Head of Household competition pits the housemates against one another each week, with the winner receiving immunity from eviction. Each housemate is allowed to award two other housemates with three nomination points, with two points going to one and one to the other.
The head of household is required to save one of the nominees from eviction among the housemates with the most nomination points. This season, unlike the previous one where the top three housemates were put up for eviction, the four housemates with the most nomination points are put up for eviction. On the primary website for the program, viewers can cast votes for the housemate they think should be kicked out. Voting for which housemate to keep in the house began during the seventh week, with the person with the fewest votes being kicked out. The housemates complete tasks each week in order to earn their weekly food budget.

The Spontaneous Nomination was first presented in episode 6. Only one houseguest per week has the advantage of receiving nomination points of 3 and 2 as opposed to the customary 2 and 1. Immediately following the eviction, the spontaneous nomination opens and closes before the formal nomination procedure. After nominations in week 6, the time of spontaneous nominations was over.
