Sclerotherapy is done in the case of spider veins or varicose veins; a single session of Sclerotherapy lasts for approximately 30-40 minutes.
Once in the clinic, the doctor asks the patient to lie down, and if the treatment has to be carried out on legs, the patient is supposed to wear shorts, or the patient has to remove the jeans or pants he is wearing before the doctor starts with the treatment.
Treatment starts with imaging of the affected area, and the patient is asked to lie down on the bed, followed by disinfecting the affected area using an antiseptic solution.
